This lesson includes two circle Venn Diagrams for students to drag characteristics of animal groups to the appropriate location in the Venn Diagram. There is also a pie graph for sorting animals into their groups and habitats for students to determine which animals don't belong.

Use in first grade

I think this will work really well with my first graders as we classify and write about the different animal groups.
