Creating a New Class

MimioConnect supports class rosters, which means you can present to, or assign content to, specific students.

 

Manually Create a Class

  1. To begin, navigate to the “Classes” tab inside MimioConnect
  2. Select “Make a New Class”, shown highlighted below in red.
  3. The following screen will appear.
  4. At the top left, give your class a name.
  5. Add your students’ details one at a time and then select “Add to List” after each student has been entered. They will then populate on the right hand side.
  6. Once all students have been added, click “Save Class”.

Your class is now ready to be used in MimioConnect. Your students will now receive an email asking them to confirm joining your class. If they do not yet have a MimioConnect account, they will be prompted to enter a password upon clicking the “Join” link in the email.
